Kristin and James drove in from Dallas for our engagement shoot at the beautiful Laguna Gloria a few weeks before their August 1st wedding (yes, I’m behind on blogging). They brought along Ben, Kristin’s amazingly entertaining boy to get some family photos snapped in the mix as well.

While I’m on the topic of families I get to see every year… the RHODES FAMILY! I love love love watching the kids grow. Be sure to check out their 2007 and 2008 sessions too.

I may have said it before, but one of the coolest parts of my job is watching families grow. I photographed Amy and Randy’s wedding back in April 2007. Later in 2007 I did a photo shoot of them with their dogs and Amy told me that they are they are trying to have a little one. Sure enough, I met Gus in December 2008 when he was just 2 weeks old! Even then he was a sweetie. So here we are, December 2009, and Gus just had his first birthday. He can almost walk, and he has the cutest, biggest, most infectious smile.
