My awesome friend Manja started a RAD skincare business called LePA Skincare. She is from Slovenia and her mother owned and operated two medical spas there. So when she moved to Austin it made perfect sense for her to start a skincare business here! When Manja asked me to do the photos for her new website of course I said YES!

Nancy and Kenneth got married on New Year’s Eve. Since we didn’t start the wedding-day photography until after nightfall we did a special session a couple of weeks later where I photographed them around Austin in their wedding clothes. We were all over town, but right now I want to show off the pics from Home Slice Pizza on South Congress. This is Nancy and Kenneth’s favorite place to eat… and who doesn’t love a photo of a wedding couple stuffing their face?

If you are getting married, I highly recommend you do a separate shoot in your wedding clothes. It is so, so fun and it really adds character and style to your wedding photos!

I’ll be blogging more about Nancy and Kenneth because I love them, and also because I am excited to show off their wedding photos, and the rest of their photos from this ‘Wedding Duds’ shoot. And I recently found out that Nancy is pregnant! CONGRATULATIONS!!

I love my baby boy. Except he’s not a baby anymore. Far from it. My kiddo is nine-and-a-half years old and in my unbiased opinion he’s sweet and beautiful and wonderful and so so so great. And that is an understatement.

Okay so Peyton and I went to Seguin Texas so that Peyton could compete in the PSIA Academic Competition representing Kirby Hall School. While we had time in between events we did a full-on photo shoot and man was it fun.

And Peyton got SECOND PLACE in Art Memory so he is headed to the state competition in Fort Worth. I’m so proud! And can I just say I have an art history minor and my baby loves art like his momma!

Okay now I’m gushing and crazy so let’s just get to the photos…

So, for those of you that don’t know, I’ve been pretty busy these past 8 months. I guess that’s almost always true with wedding season being fairly constant in Texas but I’ve had a little bit extra going on what with growing a baby and all. I now have a little waddle in my step and a little extra baggage, but that certainly didn’t stop me from wanting to document this important and amazing time in my life with the help from Whitney.

On my 29th week, we got up bright and early and had some photo fun. For any pregnant momma’s out there who hesitate to get maternity pictures done, let me tell you right now- Just Do It. You might not feel glamorous every day of the week in your new body, but you are most certainly beautiful and you will want something to remember that time in your life.
