This past wedding season was crazy on me. I shot weddings until I was 8 months pregnant, took 2 months off, then got back in to the game and learned to juggle baby duties with wedding duties. I would not have traded this past year for anything!

Harper Lennon Muse was born on May 8th and has been rocking our world ever since! I can’t believe I haven’t introduced her yet, seeing as I take pictures of her constantly and my daily life revolves around her. But better late than never, right?

Life. Is. Good.

Meghan and Glenn’s wedding is in two weeks so we were definitely in a hurry to finally meet and get their engagements wrapped up! There was a chill in the air but you can’t tell from the images- the couple look totally at ease in front of the camera and beside each other. I can’t wait for their fun wedding day; good thing I don’t have to wait for long!

Kati & Hilal got married in San Antonio at the Southwest School of Art and Craft back in September. Everything about their day seemed absolutely unique and perfect! I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.

One of my favorite things about going to weddings and rehearsals are the toasts. I LOVE hearing people talk about how much they love each other and reminisce about the past. I was excited to get to shoot Kati & Hilal’s rehearsal dinner- their friends and family were so happy and full of love and it really showed. I was thankful to have a camera in front of my face because I got teary eyed on more than one occasion.

I guess I should start off this blog by introducing myself! I’m Lindsey and I’ve been second shooting and assisting Leah and Whitney for a few years now…and occasionally get to shoot weddings myself

Kati & Hilal are from San Antonio so I didn’t get the chance to meet them face to face until I shot their engagements. I think its safe to saw we hit it off pretty well because the three of us hung out and went to dinner after their session. We spent a while talking and getting to know each other. Kati even showed me photos of her wedding dress on her iPhone while Hilal looked the other way. I love them!
