My homegirl Jen found me years ago when I advertised on craigslist and I’ve been her photographer ever since. I love her for that. She’s a musician- she sings Christian blues rock. She wanted to do a photo shoot for her album cover and she let me take her around the East Side and choose the locations. The last place we went particularly rocked. Scroll down to see.

‘Tis the season for holiday family portraits! I spent a lovely Friday morning with Jeff and Lisa Rhodes and their fabulous children Addison and Canden. Sweet Addison shared her stickers with me and the whole family had fun calling out the names of every princess Addison could remember. 1, 2, 3… Cinderella! At 18 months Canden was already a natural in front of the camera. He liked to say “Touchdown!” and raise both of his arms. What stinkin’ cuties.

I’m thankful for my son! It had been a while since I photographed Peyton in an everyday situation, and I wanted to document my baby just being the happy 8-year-old that he is.

What a fun event! Nicole and Rob got married at Chateau Bellevue in downtown Austin. I hadn’t been there, and man was it beautiful. The groom’s cake was one of my favorites EVER. Nicole and Rob are so sweet and so in love and that makes for a perfect day.
