I met Lyndsey and Jarrett at a meeting in North Austin, they are getting married in Houston, and we did the first part of their engagements in San Antonio! The couple wanted me to join them on the Riverwalk for some proposal reenactment pictures on “Marriage Island”. I asked Lyndsey if she was expecting the big question when she was lead on to the aptly named Marriage Island, and she said that she had no clue. I love it! Their family was all hidden across the water on the River Walk watching everything happen, but alas, no one got good pictures. So, we played theatre and Jarrett got down on one knee. Cute!
Afterwards, we walked in to Hotel Contessa, which is absolutely gorgeous! I had to get some shots on their nice lounge chairs before we head off to our final San Antonio destination- the Missions. Most people just visit the Alamo because it’s obviously the most popular, but we headed off on a different direction to a beautiful Mission (the name of which I can not remember).
Stay tuned for Part 2 that we took in Austin!

I was supposed to meet with Heather and John to take their engagements at Laguna Gloria but when I arrived, I realized that a wedding was happening and that we should probably take ourselves elsewhere. We went right next door to Mayfield Park and besides the peacocks (everywhere! so scary!), I think we made a great decision. Heather and John are extremely easy to be around and over the course of our hour together, I got increasingly more excited to share their wedding day with them in just two short weeks. Behold, the cuteness!

Nancy and Kenneth are SO FUN. I’ve already blogged about them here and here and here!
Well here, finally, is their wedding. Huge smiles all around. Nancy and Kenneth’s wedding was on New Year’s Eve (I know, I’m a late blogger) which makes for a challenge because no one even starts getting ready until after dark.
One super cool thing about their wedding was that Nancy’s parents got married on the same day- December 31- in 1953! So in lieu of a groom’s cake they had an anniversary cake for Nancy’s parents. Of course Nancy’s mom and dad had the honor of cutting the first piece.

One last happy thing to say about Nancy and Kenneth… they’re pregnant! CONGRATULATIONS! Hopefully I’ll be doing a maternity session with Nancy soon!

I photographed Sharon and Ryan’s wedding in Round Rock. They are huge sports fans so it was only fitting for them to have their reception at Dell Diamond!

Sharon got ready at her home in Round Rock.

Look Dad is crying!

Instead of a bout he has a star wars rebel insignia pin. So nerdy and awesome. I love it.

Bunny ears!

Note the baseball groom’s cake.

Like father, like daughter! Bunny ears!

I photographed Molly and Andrew’s wedding at The Terrace Club about a year ago. And here we are, baby time already!
