We just found out that we got the Bride’s Choice award for 2012 over at Wedding Wire!  Thanks to all of our clients who took the time to write a nice review on our page.  It means the world to us!  In other fun news,  last month the New York Times featured an engagement photograph by our very own Erica Nix and one of our photos was used in Offbeat Bride’s monday montage! Not a bad way to start off the Chinese New Year

I am so happy to know Kennedy and Wayne. These two people love each other so deeply. They adore one another and they are tender and respectful with one another. Over the years I’ve learned not to take any one of these elements for granted, let alone all of this together- this magic that these two share.

I had so much fun putting together this post, reminiscing about each wedding I photographed last year.  My clients are all so amazing- loving and happy and creative!  Life is good!

Jamie and Adam got married a couple of weeks ago (hooray!), and they decided to do a newlywed session before they left town. I love these sessions! The wedding is over, dirty dresses don’t matter, everyone’s happily married….ah, bliss! Not to mention, Jamie and Adam are super sweet. They’re friends with another awesome couple of mine, Rachelle and Ryan!
