Woman of the Year in Columbus, OHIO

Hi all! As you can see, I've only had my blog for a few months, and I'm still trying to figure out whether I want to get personal or whether I just want to show off my photography. So here this is, a personal post that has nada to do with photography. :)

My good friend Trish Dehnbostle has been nominated for "Woman of the Year" in my hometown of Columbus, OH. Please vote for her here.

Trish rocks the house and here's why: she's a single mom with three kids and she's a social worker. She did work in Portland, OR with anorexia patients and even managed to get Jamie Lee Curtis to come in and talk to her group. She now works with underprivlidged teenagers in Columbus and she's done amazing work with the teenagers to start their own community garden and to sell their produce to local restaurants. To top it off, she just had a baby in October! Hokey smokes, how can one person manage all of that?

So please, vote for my girl! She deserves to get funding for her organization The Godman Guild. Thanks yo!
